Bournemouth vs Everton – Match Ratings

Everton sealed their place in the quarter finals of the FA Cup with a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday and the Toffees most certainly were made to work hard to claim the victory despite the comfortable nature of the result.

Everton survived in the first half after Charlie Daniels failed to convert from the spot and it was Toffees’ better quality in the final third which saw them claim the victory over the spirited Bournemouth outfit.

Joel Robles – 8

There has been a lot of talk that Robles should permanently replace Tim Howard as the number one goalkeeper for Everton and the Spaniard further put weight behind the argument with another stunning display.

However, the Irishman came alive in the second period and nearly scored as well with his ‘trademark’ header.

Up against the pacey Joshua King, Phil Jagielka more than held his own and although the match was a real test for the veteran defender, he came out on top with flying colours.
