According to reports, Everton are on the verge of securing the services of Sandro Ramirez from Malaga.
Romelu Lukaku has made it clear in no uncertain terms that he will be looking to leave Everton this summer and replacing the Belgian international will surely prove to be a very difficult task for the Toffees.
That being said, Everton are expected to receive anywhere from £80-100 million from the sale of Lukaku and one can be sure that manager Ronald Koeman will be looking to use the funds judiciously to bring in a quality replacement for the Belgian international.
Sandro Ramirez is a name that has been consistently linked with a move to Everton over the past few weeks and now according to reports emerging out of England, it can be revealed that the Toffees are very close to signing the Malaga star.
Everton were in competition with Atletico Madrid in the race to sign Sandro but with the Spanish giants’ transfer embargo being upheld by Court of Arbitration for Sport, the Toffees have now been paved the way to sign the 21-year-old.
It is believed that Everton will be acquiring the services of Sandro for a bargain price as he has a lowly £5.2million release clause on his contract at the La Rosaleda Stadium and the transfer could prove to be one of the deals of the summer.
Sandro enjoyed a wonderful campaign for Malaga last season following his release by Barcelona as he scored 14 goals in 30 La Liga appearances and the young Spaniard could well prove to be a more than capable replacement for the wantaway Lukaku next season.
