Everton are keen on securing the services of Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly, according to reports emerging from the Gazzetta World
The arrivals of billionaire owner Farhad Moshiri and manager Ronald Koeman has led to a exponentially raised levels of ambitions for Everton and as a result, it has been no surprise whatsoever in seeing the Toffees being linked with a host of high profile names.
The likes of Juan Mata, Georginio Wijnaldum, Axel Witsel and Kasper Schmeichel are just some of the players currently being courted by Everton and now according to reports, the Premier League side are currently believed to be keen on securing the services of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

Considering Koulibaly’s fine performances, the Senegalese international has been able to attract the interest from a host of clubs and Premier League giants Chelsea were believed to be keen on landing his signature.
In a surprising twist though, even Everton have joined in the race for Koulibaly and the Toffees are ready to swoop in ahead of Chelsea to sign the former Genk star for a fee of around £38.5 million.
Everton face the prospect of losing star defender John Stones, incidentally to Chelsea, and Koulibaly could well prove to be a very good replacement for the England international.
