According to reports emerging out of Italy, it has been claimed that Everton are currently planning a swoop for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart
It was clear to see from the start that new Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola did not rate Joe Hart very highly and as a result, the 29-year-old was shipped out on loan to Torino over the summer.
Given the lack of trust from Guardiola, it has been claimed that Hart is not willing to go back to City once his loan spell with Torino comes to an end and a host of clubs have now expressed their interest in securing the services of the England international.
There is a lot of interest in Hart from a number of Premier League clubs and now according to reports from Italy, Everton are believed to be leading the race to sign the ex-Shrewsbury stopper.
Everton signed Maarten Stekelenburg during the summer and the Dutchman has been in fine form so far this season for the Toffees.
However, many still believe that manager Ronald Koeman is currently on the lookout for another goalkeeper and as reportedly identified Hart as his number one target.
Along with Everton, even Sunderland have been mentioned as a potential destination for Hart and it will be interesting to see where the goalkeeper ends up.
