According to reports from the Daily Mirror, Everton manager Ronald Koeman has his eyes set on securing the services of Ajax Amsterdam star Davy Klaassen.
Everton have endured a very inconsistent start under Ronald Koeman but they have more than managed to put up a strong recovery since the turn of the year and the Toffees are currently on a fine run of ten matches without a single defeat.
The wonderful streak has seen Everton move closer to the top four and although finishing in one of the Champions League places could be a bit of a stretch, the Merseyside outfit will surely have aspirations of catching up on Manchester United, who are occupying the 6th place Europa League spot.
A European finish for Everton this season looks all but guaranteed and Koeman will surely want his side to mount a stronger bid for a place in the top four next season after having adapted to life at Goodison Park very well.
With intense fierce competition from the traditional bigger clubs though, Everton will surely find it tough to finish in the Champions League next season as well and one can be sure that Koeman will need to further strengthen his squad in order to achieve the aspirations.
It is believed that Everton have already identified targets to pursue for next season and now according to reports from the Daily Mirror, revelations can be made that the Toffees are currently eyeing up a swoop for Ajax Amsterdam star Davy Klaassen.
Klaassen has been one of the best performers in the Dutch Eredivisie over the past few seasons and the 24-year-old has enjoyed a wonderful campaign this term, scoring 15 goals from 30 appearances in all competitions from a midfield position.
Koeman is believed to be a keen admirer of Klaassen, having scouted him personally on numerous occasions and now reports have claimed that the Everton boss will look to make a swoop for his compatriot next summer.
